About of Munjya

Munjya blends horror and comedy to tell the story of a vengeful spirit accidentally released by Bittu, a young man visiting his village. This spirit, Munjya, is no ordinary ghost. In 1952, a young Brahmin boy named Gotya died tragically after failing to marry his love, Munni. Now a restless spirit, Munjya seeks a bride and specifically targets women from Bittu’s family.

Bittu, along with his childhood friend Bella (who is oblivious to his feelings), gets tangled in Munjya’s web. The comedic aspect arises from their attempts to appease or outsmart the mischievous spirit. However, things get serious when Munjya’s true intentions and connection to Bittu’s family lineage are revealed. The film becomes a race against time as Bittu must unravel the past and find a way to send Munjya back to the afterlife before he claims another victim.
