Maharaja which marks as Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th film has emerged as a hit movie. The movie went on to become his highest grossing movie with worldwide collection of ₹100 crore within 19 days. For the first two weeks, the film had a good business in India and earned around ₹68 crore net.

Nonetheless, the threat of facing another big release dipped its collections in the third week. On the 25th day, Maharaja earned approximately 0.22 Cr net in India. Despite this, the film’s total collection in India is estimated to be around ₹70.2 crore net. Adding to its success, “Maharaja” also did well overseas, bringing in ₹24 crore, pushing the total worldwide collection to over ₹106 crore. Made on a budget of only ₹20 crore, the film is considered a resounding financial success.
