Maharaja Box Office Collection Day 21 Update

Maharaja, which featured Vijay Sethupathi, was a commercial success. With competition coming up from another big film, “Kalki 2898 AD’, it collected over Rs 100 crore worldwide in its third week.

This includes Rs 67.77 crore in India and Rs 24 crore overseas. The movie left the record for the grossing Tamil movie of the year 2024 beyond Aranmanai 4. Interestingly, “Maharaja” pulled this off within 19 days of its release, and that’s the highest-grossing for Vijay Sethupathi in his acting career. Just to note, box office collections are still being compiled as of July 4th, 2024, for Maharaja’s twenty-first day.

The net collection, according to estimates, for all the language versions in India is said to be around ₹0.35 crore. This followed a good 21-day showing that saw it make ₹67.77 crore net. Although the actual figures of the collection are expected, Maharaja seems to sustain the third-week performance of the movie.

Although it was up against the behemoth that is “Kalki 2898 AD,” Maharaja went on to cross the ₹100 coveted crore in collections globally in 19 days and stands out as Vijay Sethupathi’s highest-grossing film to date. It also reached the highest collection of all Tamil films in 2024. The sensational performance shows that the movie is liked and appreciated by the audience and has emerged as a financial success.
