The pre-booking for the vigilante action is going high especially in Tamil Nadu where it has already crossed over ₹7 crore and might even beat director Shankar’s previous blockbuster “2.0.” Positive pre-release reaction gives the hint that “Indian 2” may turn out to be the blockbuster movie of all times. Indian 2 Day 1 collection is 26 crore in three language. Tamil 17 crore, Hindi 1.1 crore and telegu 7.9 crore and its a biggest celebration in film industries.

About Indian 2
Continuing the story several years after the first “Indian ” movie, “Indian 2” again casts Kamal Haasan , as the older, just as vengeful Senapathy. Senapathy is now old and lives a quite life under a new identity, but is forced back into the action.
A young activist named Chitra (Priya Bhavani Shankar) fighting against corruption makes public videos on the Internet with immoral political figures. When Chitra is in danger Senapathy comes out from his secret cover and uses his fighting skills and experience to defend her and to punish the culprits.
This passionated movie illustrates many aspects such as corruption, the justice of taking the law in their own hands and the spirit of a freedom fighter in the modern society.
