Mr. and Mrs. . Mahi is the story of an arranged marriage couple: Mahendra Aggarwal, who is a failed cricketer and runs his family sports equipment shop; and Mahima Aggarwal, who is a doctor, but not because she wanted to be one, as it was more like her father’s dream. Both of them are very different from each other, and the only common thing between them is their love for cricket.
One day Mahendra notices Mahima’s talent in cricket as she hits perfect straight drives in a small cricket match. It is then revealed that Mahima had a knack for cricket and that she used to be a gully cricket star. Mahendra takes it upon himself to train Mahima for the state trials and fulfill both their dreams.
Through cricket, the couple learns to love themselves, but they also come across various hurdles like male ego, societal pressure, parental control, and so on.
