About of Kalki 2898 AD
Kalki 2898 AD is set in the future in the year 2898, where a resource-depleted Earth is controlled by a dictator Supreme Yaskin. Yaskin pursues the idea of obtaining the key to a longer life and, in this pursuit, he initiates Project K, which kidnaps fertile women and uses their unborn babies as the source of a life-prolonging serum.
Prophecy foretells the arrival of Kalki, Vishnu’s tenth avatar, who will restore back this balance. In the plot of the series, readers meet Bhairava, a desperate scavenger and debtor, whose life is changed when he encounters Sumati, a pregnant runaway from Project K.
Throughout the series of protecting Sumati and her unborn child, Bhairava unknowingly aids the prophesied Kalki’s arrival contributing to the creation of the Kalki avatar who would rebel against Yaskin’s forces and prevent them from consolidating their power.
