Mirzapur Season 3 Movie Review

Some fans have said that the first 5 episodes of the intervening half are unbeatable in terms of acting, suspense, and cinematography, and then, after going back to dark, the twists and turns are full on too. That being said, most of the fans are quite unhappy with the turn of the plot in this series.

The plot seems to have gotten quite weak. People found that Mirzapur Season 3 has an unnecessary stretchy plot, and without Munna Bhaiya and more of Golu, this show is lackluster.

Many critics have pointed out that this show tries hard to be like Gangs of Wasseypur. It seems that Season 3 was overhyped, and now people are being too harsh on the show.

The lack of recap narration really made a dent, especially after a four-year gap since the release of Season 2. There was too much new happening, with new characters, old characters with a new character arc, and a shift of power.

The women don’t seem to have any big role in these series except for being mere spectators, victims, or participants. Many people even feel that Mirzapur has lost its grip on its audience because of too many changes in its initial plot.

Mirzapur Season 3 Star Performance

Sweta Tripathi had a lot of waiting on her shoulders but a lack of character depth made her screen presence quite unreasonable for the viewers. Ali Faizal shines brightly in this show, while people really miss Munna Bhaiya’s presence.

Vijay Verma looks great as Tyagi Ji and steals the show. Pankaj Tripathi lacks screen time and thus we get to see less of his charisma. Isha Talvar performs well as the authoritative Chief Minister. But the lack of many well-known characters made Season 3 of Mirzapur a subtle miss.
