Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 6 Update

The sci-fi action epic Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, had a powerful opening, grossing ₹95.30 crore net in India on its first day itself. However, Kalki 2898 AD did not perform as well during weekdays as it had during the opening weekend. Its performance settled down after the initial weekend.

Nevertheless, Kalki 2898 AD managed to hang onto its sixth-day position for being top at the Indian box office, with collection slowing down compared to that of opening weekend only a little bit. According to estimates, on July 2, 2024, Tuesday the movie was able to earn around ₹27.85 crore net in India alone. The total domestic collection now stands at an impressive ₹363.41 crore net.

The Hindi occupancy rate was at 19.83% on Tuesday, which is slightly less than previous days. Nevertheless, Kalki 2898 AD is still one of the leading films and will keep attracting crowds in the near future.

Kalki 2898 AD: Hit or Flop

Kalki 2898 AD’s entire box office career is hanging by a thread. It had a fabulous start when it made a record-breaking ₹95.3 crore net in India on day one but lost its steam soon after that. By the end of seven days, it had accumulated ₹343.6 crore net within India and ₹625 crore net globally.

This is impressive but falls short of some initial predictions and Prabhas’s earlier blockbuster Baahubali 2. However, the film continues to show pulling power, particularly in Telugu and Hindi markets (₹182 crore and ₹128 crore net respectively). Its sixth-day collection of ₹27.85 crore net pushed the total domestic collection to ₹363.41 crore net. If it maintains this trajectory, Kalki 2898 AD has a good chance of solidifying itself as a commercial success.
